CoZier Productions was created during the winter of 2008 at the creation of a short, trial series, CoZier Electronics. Following the end of the Holiday Special, CoZier Productions created KOZR News, a news station that was based in the same town of CoZier.
KOZR News soon became a trial series as well, and the releases halted early in 2009. At the announcement of the release of the Sims 3, CoZier Productions then decided to plan for a new series, called The Moores.
